More around Clayton

When first plotting our course through this area, I had wanted to stay at the Wellesley Island State Park, but as luck would have it, they have very few sites with ample power and space for a rig like ours and the ones they did have were all taken already. So we ended up a few miles out of town in the just-okay Birch Haven RV park (but it was cheap because of our Passport America!). But that didn't mean we couldn't at least check out the state park, and it was quite pretty, right on the river...

Bill finds a nice, cool, shady spot to contemplate some of upstate NY's beauty.

Outside of the state park, we found some incredible-looking and located homes/get-aways. These fortunate folks had their own private, isolated spots surrounded by water and wonderful scenery!

I mean, these housing situations don't look too bad, do they? Of course, right now (early March), they might!
Later, I did my usual driving-around-exploring thing and came across a lot of lovely old farm scenes.

And some gorgeous water!
