No photos for this entry - but if there was one, it'd be of VERY unhappy faces...
It was Valentine's Day. OK, wait, here's one photo...
Happy Belated Valentines Day!
So, anyways, we had a nice, quiet day. It started out brilliantly sunny and clear. We finally found the pharmacy open and got my prescription filled. And then just toured the town, had lunch, etc. We returned to the RV and messed around on the computers. Clouds had taken over mid-day, and it had grown windy and very cold. The forecast was for low 20's that evening. We were all just fine,...until I plugged in one too many electrical appliances. Since it was so cold, we had two little space heaters going (rather than use our noisy electrical RV heater or use up our propane). Also, both our computer monitors were on. And then I turned on the microwave... oops! Too much power demand! Pop! And it got real quiet....
Apparently, the Winnebago manual says something like "circuit breakers located under the bed or behind a panel in a galley cupboard or elsewhere in the front." How handy.
So, we looked and looked and looked.
We searched the entire inside of the RV. We looked in all the compartments outside, with poor Bill having to pull stuff out and crawl around inside some of them! We went back inside and looked some more. When we'd just about given up hope, Bill found it! Behind a framed mirror on our bedroom wall. There was absolutely no indication that this mirror was anything but decorative and glued to the wall! We froze our butts off trying to find this, and I was worried about going into a below-freezing night with less than a fully functional RV.
Gee, how hard could it have been to put in a little note that said "circuit breaker panel behind mirror in bedroom...?!!!"
Thanks Winnebago - you've done it again!
LOL
