Into the Swamplands...

On March 28th, we moved to Sam Houston Jones State Park, in the Lake Charles, LA, area. It was recommended to us by someone at an earlier RV park.

A cool bridge on the way there.

Bill & Tractor meet folks at a rest stop.

And welcome to the swamp!

This park has a wonderful little swamp right in the middle of it! It's just a short walk from all of the campsites!
The pretty tree-lined road around the swamp.

Beautiful trees on the swamp perimeter. The typical trees found here are tupelo and bald cypress, but I'm not sure which these ones are!
Cool shadows on the green and red surface plantlife (duckweed?).
And, of course, fun reflections!
